Bonnie Maloney Volunteers to Help Homeless Vets

Bonnie Maloney, Windermere Homes & Estates Escondido agent, has contributed countless hurs to help those in need. Through this holiday season, Bonnie has been pooling her efforts to assist homeless Veteran families in North San Diego by teaming up with Veterans Stand Down. Along with her Escondido Rotarian friends, Bonnie collected over 1 ton of clothing donations to be disbursed at this years Veterans Stand Down event.

As a seasoned agent in the North County area, Bonnie frequently works with vets on relocation, downsizing and new home purchases, combining years of Real Estate experience with her life as part of a military family.

Bonnie stated, "Working with veterans has become somewhat of my specialty. Since I work with so many of them, it gives me a strong sense of pride in what I do. While I work mostly in North County San Diego, there are no areas that are off limits to me when working with a client. I would go tothe ends of the Earth to make sure my clients are satisfied with where they land."

The efforts of the Stand Down organization allow homeless vets to get a warm meal, hot shower, temporary shelter, clean clothing, legal assistance and access to medical, dental and psychiatric care. Read more about this group here.
